Commit all pending changes to AEP in one click, or pull the latest profile state from the platform to verify changes.

## Update profile

Clicking **Update profile** collates every field change made across all dynamic forms in the session into a single JSON patch and POSTs it to the DSN Streaming Inlet.

### Update flow

1. Collation of changes All edits from all open forms are merged into a single XDM-conformant JSON payload. Unchanged fields are omitted — this is a partial update, not a full profile replacement.
2. POST to Streaming Inlet The payload is sent via HTTP POST to the DSN Streaming Inlet provisioned in the selected sandbox, triggering AEP's streaming ingestion pipeline.
3. AEP profile store update AEP processes the event and merges the patch into the unified profile. Propagation to the Real-time Profile store typically takes a few seconds.
4. Verify with refresh After a brief moment, click Refresh profile to re-fetch and confirm that your changes are reflected in the profile details panel.

## Refresh profile

Clicking **Refresh profile** re-fetches the profile from AEP using the same identity used in the original search.

Use this to:

- Verify that a profile update was applied successfully
- Pick up changes made by other services (e.g. a running journey, data flow, or another team member)

## View in AEP

The **View in AEP** button generates a deep link directly to this profile's record in the AEP Platform UI. The link is dynamic — it encodes the resolved profile ID from the identity graph lookup — so it always points to the correct unified profile in the selected org and sandbox.
