Here are the **recommended** **steps** to reset your AEP sandbox and set up a new environment:

### Key steps:

1. Create a **[Package](https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/sandbox/ui/sandbox-tooling#export-objects)** with the objects you would like to save such as schemas, audiences, journeys and more.
2. [Reset your AEP sandbox](https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/sandbox/ui/user-guide#resetting-a-sandbox) using the Adobe Experience Platform UI.
3. **Wait a few minutes** to make sure AEP services are ready to create and deliver a new demo.
4. In Journey Optimizer, make you **[create the necessary channel presets](https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/journey-optimizer/using/configuration/get-started-configuration)** (Email, Push, etc.) and API Credentials (SMS, WhatsApp, etc.).
5. In Demo System Next, use the [Quick Setup](https://dsn.adobe.com/quick-setup) feature to install a specific industry preset e.g. [Retail](docId\:Wu-Eqh5gsRhcoawzHLHLB). This will configure the necessary schemas, datasets, audiences, and more, while automatically creating Web, Mobile, and CX App projects linked to data collection properties. 
6. In Demo System Next, use the [B2C Data Feed](docId\:P5ugZqqEbol7L0aKdk5Hl) tool to import profiles and events based on industry templates. You can customize these to schedule automated data ingestion through streaming and batch processes, which will populate your profiles and trigger journeys.
7. [Import the Package](https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/sandbox/sandbox-tooling-api/packages#import) created in the first step to restore specific objects (if applicable).
