Journey Optimizer allows  to personalize and test the experiences we want to deliver to the customers across all the touchpoints like: web apps, mobile apps, desktop apps, video consoles, TV connected devices, smart TVs, kiosks, ATMs, voice assistants, IoT devices, etc.

With the **capability of code-based experience**, we can define inbound experiences using a simple and intuitive non-visual editor. It allows inserting and editing specific elements at individual and more granular locations of apps or web pages, no matter the type of application, rather than applying modifications to an entire content.

Code-based experience supports any customer implementation, as shown in the options below. It is either client-side, server-side, or a hybrid implementation method.

## Code-based Experience Demos available in DSN Public projects

- Client-side only – To add modifications to the web pages or mobile apps, Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK is added to the website or Adobe Experience Platform Mobile SDK is added to mobile apps.

- Server-side—We can use the AEP Edge Network Server API to request personalization server-side. The development team must handle the response and render the modifications client-side in the app implementation.
