Text Field

Displays a text input field.



General

Properties Label - field label. Type - textfield type especially useful for passwords. Placeholder - placeholder for empty input. Is required - visually mark field as required. Has no other effect. Name - name of the field used to identify and also to save its value if Path is not set. Path - Used to provide more complex structure where the data should be saved. Should match AEP schema attribute selector to enable pre-filling from AEP. Form Id - used mainly for webhook requests to control which data is sent. Only properties with matching Form Id will be included in the request. If empty - data from all fields collected in current session will be included. Default Value - constant value to use for pre-filling field if no 'dynamic' value is found. Pre-fill - select to attempt to pre-fill the field from AEP profile, local data from previous screen or wit the Default Value Alignment - horizontal alignment of the field.
